Looking in registry for Prepar3D v2 install path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D Looking in registry for Prepar3D install path: ĪppPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\ > OK! FOUND FSX! > OK! FOUND FSX-SE! <<<. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0 Looking in registry for FSX install path: FSX was installed but uninstalled before I loaded FSX-SE. Sorry for the confusion, I am running FSX-SE. I could tell you a lot more with the Log (which is why the log is produced, incidentally!) It won't do any harm (at least to FSUIPC), but can then only be corrected by removing the incorrect Registry entries. Did you first install FSX-SE before uninstalling FSX? If the registry entries say both are installed but one isn't really there, you'll get this spurious error because the Installer is trying to set both of them up. I suspect, but I can't confirm without seeing the Install log, that you have a Registry entry for FSX and for FSX-SE. You'll need to show me the FSUIPC4 Install log, placed in your FSX-SE Modules folder. I can check this and tell you for sure if you will show me the Install log file. This will not make it easy to install other add-ons UNTIL they've had their installers updated to deal with the different folders used by FSX-SE compared to FSX, so you'd be losing the main advantage of having FSX-SE installed without FSX. In particular, I would like to see the complete FSUIPC4 Install log rather than the partial picture you've shown.įrom the little I can see, and the error in the previous message, I think you have a bit of a mess there, with the FSX-SE installation in the state it would be in if FSX was still also installed. Rather than takes pictures and place them in your messages it would be far better just to open the relevant files in an editor, like Notepad, then cut and paste the text into your message. I read everything you wrote  , something did not work due to my mistake and it causes further issues. You don't need any ini files from the previous version of FSUIPC, but if you want them, look in the Modules folder of P3D or in the \Documents\Prepar3D v5 (or v4) Add-ons folder for them.I just installed from the website and it's working. You'll have to manually launch FSUIPC7 via its exe file.Ģ.
